    Great tip. Any idea if this can work with Genesis Simple Sidebars? I tried changing genesis_do_sidebar to ss_do_sidebar, but that doesn’t seem to work.

      Unfortunately I don’t really use Simple Sidebars so I can’t help. Neil has a nice snippet I’ve used before… Check out how WP Beaches does it.. Maybe that will give you a head start.
